In Love with Opera Performance..

So, I feel like I'm getting into older and older type of art. I mean, I remember very well about my passion for these bands/singers (I listed them from the one I love first).:
  • Westlife (4years)
  • Il Divo (3years)
  • Mario Lanza (1year)
  • Placido Domingo and Sergej Larin (recently)

The problem is: Is it normal for a girl my age to come to such a liking for things like that? OMG!

It all started when I heard someone sang Nessung Dorma. I began a research about Nessun Dorma and finally watched Turandot (Sergej Larin's performance). Then by pure chance I read a story by Agatha Christie mentioning Tosca, another opera by Puccini. I watched it (Placido Domingo's performance), and now I'm in love with it.

I like the music, the lyrics, the acting, the story (except the last part), everything. I think I;m designed to like older kind of art. I won't be surprised if one day I find myself singing a Medieval song or something like that.

Ah, life..

Yes, it has been long since the last time I wrote anything on this journal (though it's impossible for me to abandon my beloved private diary..).

I'd like to tell you guys that university is NOT a good place for your health and spiritual development, though I must admit that I learn a lot of things from this hateful thing. Well, I learn to learn, that's a good thing, because I've never learned anything this hard before..

Another thing, I learn to be a little more ambitious, and a little more care about my tests results, marks, etc.. It's good, at times, but it makes me a bit more perfectionist, and it gives me more stress!! Graahhh~

Anyway, I'm starting to enjoy my new life instead of keep grumbling about it.. Hope things will be just fine at the end of this semester, for me and for you guys too.. :D

Coat of Arms....

I don't exactly know why... But I LOVE coat of arms.. I'm researching on it htese days, and it's just fun to know how complicated it is to understand.. *slapped*
For example there are different types of bars, and diferent names of pattern used in one cat of arms... After all old-fashioned things I love, is it alright to add one more?

Milan won.. It's their first victory on Serie A.. I'm so happy that my heroes scored each one a goal...
That's all for now..

My result on 'Classic IQ Test'

Visual Mathematician

Your IQ Score is: 127

You have a strong ability to process visual-spatial and mathematical information. These skills combined with your strengths in logic are what make you a Visual Mathematician.

You're able to understand patterns visually and in numbers. That means your mind can create a mental picture for any problem. In addition to that skill, you possess an intelligence that allows you to apply math to that picture, too. That helps you manipulate multiple parts of the picture (or problem) to come up with a solution. You have many skills that are critical to success and problem-solving. Your talents help you understand the "big picture," which is partly why people may turn to you for direction — especially in the workplace. You flourish in environments where tasks are clearly defined, and you are a whiz at improving processes and making things more efficient. Your ability to detect patterns and your skills in math and logic, make it natural for you to come up with ideas and theories that simplify processes for everyone.

Outside of work, Visual Mathematicians tend to do well at strategic activities like chess. It must be that ability to recognize patterns — both as they are and how they develop. Regardless of how you put your mind to use, you've got a great set of talents. You will be able to envision a clear path and calculate the risks, and more importantly, the rewards, of anything you take on.

I really can't believe that...

Sonnet 91 by Shakespeare

I found this thing and I think it's really beautiful....

Some glory in their birth, some in their skill
Some in their wealth, some in their body's force
Some in their garments though new-fangled ill
Some in their hawks and hounds, some in their horse
And every humour hath his adjunct pleasure
Wherein it finds a joy above the rest
But these particulars are not my measure
All these I better in one general best
Thy love is beter than high birth to me
Richer than wealth, prouder than garment's costs
Of more delight than hawks and horses be
And having thee, of all men's pride I boast

The Davids and The Love Guru

I love the part when The Davids met the love guru.. It's so funny. The guru even tried to shave David Cook. OMG. I'm ussually nervous when I watch American Idol result show. But this time I laughed until I hurt my stomach....
I will certainly watch the film once it's possible..

David Cook ---- The New American Idol

So.. In the end...David Cook got it. I know that it's already too late to put this inthe blog, but I still want to tellmy feelings about what happened. Well, I'ma little sad that David A lose, but I'm totally sure that even if David A got the crown, I'd fell the same thing for David C. I equally love those two. Even Simon said that he didn't care who wins....
